Installation
Have a luthier install it.
A bridge replacement is skilled repair work. We strongly recommend a qualified luthier or repair shop. Here’s what to expect, in broad strokes.
- The original plastic bridge comes off and the top is prepared.
- The new bridge is positioned for correct intonation.
- It’s glued, finished out and the guitar is set up. Rosewood comes slotted (.125″) or no-slot for your luthier to cut.
Please don’t DIY this. Placement mistakes affect intonation and can damage a vintage top. Take your guitar and your Initial Sound bridge to a luthier.
