Bring the guitar out of the closet.

Initial Sound is Michael Weidner’s shop. It started with a simple idea: guitars are meant to be played.

Somewhere there’s a 1960s B-25 in a case with a cracked plastic bridge, and the owner has been told a fix costs hundreds before installation. So it waits. We make solid wood bridges so those guitars come back to life, and the people who own them make music and play again.

Each bridge is cut from solid rosewood or ebony in a reverse-belly shape. Our sister shop, CNC Solid, shares the same precision woodworking.
